Do you know anyone that will turn down a mimosa at brunch? Neither do I. Lately, some interesting twists have been popping up on Pinterest to spice up our mimosa lives. Inspired by this Bleeding Orange Mimosa, I gave it a try to inspire your Wine Wednesday.
Step 1: Fill and freeze.
Step 2: Get the bubbly, and fill your glass with your cube of choice.
Step 3: Fill your cup.
Step 4: Watch them “bleed” and enjoy.
These were delightful, and a fun twist on the mimosa. My favorite part, was adding more champagne to the existing cubes; they lasted about two drinks worth. By freezing the mixer, it allowed for a subtle sweet taste, that wasn’t overpowered by juice. Bleeding Mimosas? Wine Not?
